To celebrate 41 years since the liberation of the city of Da Nang, Da Nang Museum (24 Tran Phu) on the morning of March 29th, 2016 will held showcasing program to introduce culinary culture, costume, traditional festivals and daily life of the co Tu ethnic people in Da Nang and Quang Nam on the theme: “Co Tu ethnic culture – Location of community identity.”

The program has three parts: Introduction of traditional costumes, cultural festivals and traditional crafts of ethnic Co Tu. In it, the highlight of the Co Tu ethnic costume is patterned textiles are conveniently directly by beads with different types: plastic beads, beads of lead, agate beads.
Part 2 will be the reappearance of images of buffalo sacrifice – the most important festival of the Co Tu people, always associated with music and traditional dances Tungtung Yaya Kotu.
At the same time, presenting a picture of the mask in the culture of the Co Tu – special cultural elements, are used in a victory dance, in ceremonies or rituals which demand season’s blessing … of Co Tu ethnic minority.
The special participations
Notably, during the opening ceremony at the forecourt of the Museum of Da Nang will have the participation of the dance team’s gong ethnic minority people in Hoa Bac commune, Hoa Vang district, Da Nang and artisans come from Ba Ta Lu commune, Dong Giang district, Quang Nam province with more traditional performances: brocade, rattan weaving and wood carving, introducing products of wine Phu Tuc, Hoa Phu, Hoa Vang district.
